Photogrammetry - MeshRoom

Meshroom is a free, open-source 3D Reconstruction Software based on the AliceVision framework.

Generare Terreni 3D

con terrain.party

E' possibile scaricare da terrain.party una porzione di mappa con i rilievi in chiaroscuro (Heightmap).

Dal software Cura è possibile importare il file .PNG generato per creare un modello 3D dei rilievi come si vede dalle due figure seguenti.

E' possibile utilizzare la stessa mappa dei rilievi come base per la realizzazione dei propri videogame in 3D.

Heightmap

Questa è la mappa in formato PNG dei rilievi, la parte bianca indica un maggior rilievo mentre la parte scura inversamente indica un minor rilievo.

Da Heightmap a modello 3D

Tramite il software CURA, il software di slicing gratuito di Ultimaker scaricabile dal link: https://ultimaker.com/it/software/ultimaker-cura è possibile importare un file heightmap in formato PNG e trasformarlo in un file 3D.
Come si vede dalla foto, il risultato è molto interessante.
